This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–8:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Torrance. The food is delicious, and they give so much banchan which also all tastes great. Their weekday galbi lunchbox special is one of my favorites, they give you galbi, japchae, two dumplings, salad, and rice. Such a good deal. I also like their soon tofu, gamjatang, and galbitang. The service is a bit slow, but it's because it's just one couple and a few other workers running the place.

I call ahead to pick up a tofu soup and ox bone soup. Service was great and efficient. When I opened the packaged food, I was very impressed with the level of care. They included plenty of ban chan per order. In addition, they placed cardboard between the cold ban chan and the hot soup to maintain the correct temperature. Portions were big and amazing for the price. Will keep coming back!

Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Tofu soup was a bit weak though in my opinion. But for the small tofu soup and meat combo you can’t complain. I got the spicy beef noodle soup and I loved it! Perfect amount of spice but flavorful. Really hearty with the decent amount of noodles. It was pretty busy in there but we didn’t wait long for the food. Will definitely come back again. I think about the spicy beef noodle soup often!

We visited Gaya Korean Tofu & Grill and loved everything we ordered β€” Bulgogi, Japchae, Bossam, and Korean pancakes were all delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant had a lively, busy vibe, but the servers were very friendly and attentive. There’s free parking, which is a big plus! Highly recommend coming early, especially on Sunday evenings, since it gets quite busy. Great food and great value!
